Human Stem Cells
There are two kinds of human stem cells: adult and embryonic stem cells. These human stem cells differ in the number and type of differentiated cells they can become. Embryonic stem cells are obtained from 3-5 days old embryos, whose cells at this point are identical to each other. These cells later differentiate and become the human organs. Embryonic stem cells can become all cell types of the body. Adult stem cells generally limited to differentiating into different cell types of the tissue of their origin. >>>
Hypothesis - Experiment
Hypothesis: If you take Nodrool during dental procedures to relieve pain, then you don’t have deal with the side effects you would experience with Novocain, and still be painless.
Experiment: I would offer free dental procedure in exchange for participating in the experiment. I would need 3 groups of 6 persons >>>
Using the Scientific Method to Study Daphnia Magna - lab report
Every organism’s full contraction and dilation of the heart is different. The way organism’s heart rate changes to different chemical solutions and temperature change is very similar. The purpose of this experiment is to study the effect of pond water, acetylcholine, adrenaline, ice and recovery from ice on the Daphnia. Daphnia magna, or water fleas, are small aquatic, transparent organism and they belong to the Phylum Arthrooda and it the Class Crustacea. >>>
The Human Genome Project and Sickle Cell Anemia
The Human Genome Project began in 1990 and lasted for 13 years. The project was organized by the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Institutes of Health. The main purpose of the Human Genome Project was to identify all genes in the human genome and to determine all 3 billion base pairs of the DNA. Other goals were to store all information in databases, to improve the tools they were using for analyzing data, to transfer technologies to the private sector and to study the ethical, legal, and social challenges (3). >>>

Social Organization of the Four Apes
Sexual dimorphism can be correlated to behaviors relating to social organization. Sexual dimorphism is greatest in polygynous societies. Primates that live in monogamous societies show a lack of sexual dimorphism in size. I will discuss the social organization and the difference of sexual dimorphism among Gibbons, Orangutans, Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Bonobos. >>>
Fossil Records from the Australopithecus to the Homo Sapiens
The evolutionary design of man has intrigued humans for many years. Anthropologists have traveled the world to search for fossil evidence to learn who we have evolved from. Human evolution began roughly 5-10 million years ago when the human line split from the apes. Scientists and anthropologists slowly have tried to put the facts together that fossil records gave them to give us an idea of our evolutionary line. >>>
